Frequently Asked Questions

How are attribution and conversion metrics calculated?

Incremental's data reflects purchases captured by Snap's attribution and conversion tracking. Please see Snap's Business Help Center documentation for more information on how the platform manages attribution through the Snap Pixel, Conversions API, and more.

Why do attributed metrics (e.g. ad-attributed revenue) change over time?

Snap assigns each conversion action a conversion window of 28 days click-through and 1-day view-through. Given that there may be a delay between an ad interaction occurring and a conversion being attributed to it, the data associated with said conversion may appear several days later. See Snap's Business Help Center documentation for more information on campaign attribution.

What types of data can I expect to see with a Snapchat Ads connection?

This integration provides campaign-level performance metrics for all Snapchat campaigns, including segmentation by both demographic (age/gender) and location. Snap's Marketing API does not support product or search term segmentation at this time.
