Tags can be assigned to campaigns to help track and identify certain trends and performance. In order to assign a tag to a campaign, you can add them individually or in bulk.
Creating Tags
Before either method is performed, tags must be created:
Navigate to Settings > Campaign Catalog and review the Manage Tags section on the left
Click Add Tags button and paste in the tags you would like to use
Tags must be unique and have a 128 character limit so be mindful of setting these up across your catalog.
Assigning Tags
Once tags have been created they can be assigned either one by one using the search or en masse via a CSV upload.
Manual Assignment:
- Search the campaign name, campaign ID or simply filter per channel
- Click the pencil icon to the right of campaign
- Select desired tags and click save
Bulk Assignment:
Click the Download/Upload button and select Download Current Current Tags
- Open up the downloaded CSV and review the Tag Name column
Enter desired Tags in this column and separate via a comma in the same column if adding multiple
- Navigate back to the Download/Upload button and select Upload Tags
Removing and Deleting Tags
In the event that tags were created in error or no longer needed, it is possible to delete depending on the scenario.
Removing Tags from Campaigns
- If a tag needs to remain in the catalog but removed from certain campaigns, you can remove by clicking the pencil icon > then click the X on the tag > Save
Deleting Tags
- If a Tag needs to be removed from all campaigns and no longer needed, simply click the trash can icon in the Manage Tags section
