When comparing the available Amazon Vendor Central products in the Incremental platform against your Amazon account, you may notice that some products are missing. This happens because of how Incremental pulls data from Amazon Vendor Central.
When Incremental accesses the Amazon API, it must use a specific reporting view, set during account integration. The Manufacturing view is preferred for most manufactures as it allows for the most accurate measurement. However, products occasionally drop out of that view on Amazon's side, which can lead to the catalog discrepancy you are seeing.
How to resolve this
- In Amazon Vendor Central, go to Reports > Retail Analytics and select the Sales or Inventory tab
- Open the Distributor View filter dropdown. This lets you toggle between:
- Manufacturing — all of your brand's products and sales, including those from other distributors
-
Sourcing — items Amazon bought directly from you
- Compare the two views.
- If a product appears under Sourcing but is missing from Manufacturing, contact your Amazon Vendor Central account manager to have it restored to the Manufacturing view being used by Incremental's measurement models
- If you see the product within the Manufacturing view, submit a ticket to Incremental support for additional assistance
